Looking for teenage leaders ‘as Gaeilge’

If you know of any teenagers with leadership qualities and a good level of Irish, we are currently on the lookout for participants in a leadership course which will take place at the Galway Bay Sailing Club in the first week in June.
And it’s free!
We are on the lookout for teenagers In Claregalway, Carnmore, and Annaghdown who may have an interest in taking part in a one-week leadership course from June 1 to 5 which will give them leadership skills for summer courses ‘as Gaeilge’.
This is aimed at teenagers who already have a good level of Irish and would help them to take up leadership courses on Irish language courses in the future.
It is free and it will also be great craic!
The course is aimed at teenagers in either Fifth Year or Transitional Year who are living in or going to school in Gaeltacht an Eachreidh, Maigh Cuillinn, or An Bruach Thoir, the Gaeltacht next to us on the east side of Galway City.
The course is being run by Tomás O hOgain, Oifigeach Pleanála Teanga of An Bruach Thoir, with support from Gaeltacht an Eachreidh and Gaeilge Mhaigh Cullinn. It will take place at the Galway Bay Sailing Club, Rinville, Oranmore from June 1 to 5.
It will include
- Developing leadership skills
- Taking part in fun and interactive activities
- Looking at how to run camps in our native language.
- Using Irish in a fun and friendly environment.
- A mixture of training, games, and workshops.
