{"id":2751,"date":"2026-06-30T12:33:00","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T12:33:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/gaeltachtaneachreidh.ie\/ag-togail-sos-don-samhradh\/"},"modified":"2026-06-30T12:39:35","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T12:39:35","slug":"a-break-for-the-summer-holidays","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/gaeltachtaneachreidh.ie\/en\/a-break-for-the-summer-holidays\/","title":{"rendered":"A break for the summer holidays"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-2738\" src=\"https:\/\/gaeltachtaneachreidh.ie\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/ciorcal-leachtseoirse-600x540.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"540\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Members of the weekly Friday morning &#8216;Ciorcal Comhr\u00e1&#8217; in Loughgeorge enjoyed a breakfast out at The Arches Hotel in Claregalway last week to celebrate the start of their summer holidays.<\/p>\n<p>The group have been meeting up on Friday mornings for a decade now and they have been using the Galway GAA Training Centre every week for the past three years.<\/p>\n<p>They decided to treat themselves to a breakfast out at The Arches Hotel before taking a break for the months of July and August.<\/p>\n<p>There was a great attendance at the breakfast, which has become something of an annual event, and the service was top class at The Arches Hotel, which has been hosting our adult Irish classes and our Thursday evening \u2018Ciorcal Comhr\u00e1\u2019 for the past year.<\/p>\n<p>The Irish language conversation circle attracts a healthy mixture of enthusiasts, between native speakers and learners, throughout the year.
